Padding it: why I don’t need a plus-size maxi pad
“I stop pumping and start thinking. First: Cool! Finally a company understands that I belong to a special market with special needs!
Then: Do my special needs really include a plus-size maxi pad?”
This quote is interesting, and Wendy used a creative self-questioning way to begin her story. She asked herself first, and in the following content she answered this funny question. I like her humorous.
“If always assumes that a bigger girl needs a bigger pad, what about petite women? Like Sarah Jessica Parker, with her size-zero body? Will always create a mini pad to accommodate her teeny-weeny vageeny?
This quote is important because Wendy future shows her dissatisfaction by asking a rhetorical question— people should not hold extreme opinions about fat or over-sized people.

A real Doll
“I looked at her. Barbie’s eyes were sparkling blue like the ocean on a good way. I looked and in a moment noticed she had the whole world, the cosmos, drawn in makeup above and below her eyes. An entire galaxy, clouds, stars a sun, the sea, painted onto her face. Yellow, blue pink and a million silver sparkles.”
I like this quote very much because the sentence is beautiful. The description is so great that I can also imagine how charming the Barbie’s eyes! I was impressed and attracted by Barbie too. People always say that “eyes are the windows of hearts”, so we can notice others inside through their eyes.
